Dr. John Spaeth graduated from Kansas University with a degree in Biological Science that he used to teach Biology in Kansas for two years. Following this, he pursued optometry in the state of California. Upon receiving his Doctorate degree in Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, he opened his first practice in La Palma, CA. Twenty two years later, Dr. Spaeth opened his new practice in Yorba Linda, CA in 2002.
As an active Lions Club member. Dr. Spaeth is currently serving as the "Medical Director" to the Lions Mobile Health Screening Unit of Southern California. He is currently a board member to the Eli Home for Abused Kids in Anaheim, CA.
Dr. Spaeth specializes in contact lenses and the treatment of common eye infections, removal of foreign bodies, and LASER Consultation with Co-management. He now also specializes in CRT (corneal refractive therapy), an exciting innovation where special contact lenses are worn overnight, allowing one to see without glasses or contacts during the day!
